Closely ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Closely mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience on our platform.

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. We do not store your password directly.
Profile Information. You may provide a username, display name, bio, and profile photo. This information is visible to your approved friends on the platform.
Content. Photos, captions, and comments you post on the App are stored on our servers and visible to your approved friends.
Invite Codes. We generate unique invite codes (QR codes) for your account to facilitate the friend invitation process. These codes are stored securely and can be regenerated at any time.
Camera & Photo Library. With your permission, we access your device's camera and photo library to allow you to capture and share photos on the App. Photos you share are uploaded to our servers.

With Your Friends. Your profile information and posted content are visible to users you have accepted as friends. This is the core functionality of the App.

Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
We take reasonable measures to help protect your personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access. Your data is stored using Google Cloud Platform, which provides industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest.
We do not use cookies, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics in the App.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may delete your content at any time within the App. You can also delete your account directly from the App's settings. When you delete your account, your personal data, content, and profile information will be permanently removed.
Comments you have left on other users' posts will remain visible but will no longer be linked to your account or display any of your personal information.
